My Life as I Know It
I wake up everyday around 6:00 am in the morning, drink water, prepare my coffee, have a couple of cigarettes and drag my ass to the bathroom. I do all that for about an hour. The next 30 minutes is spent deciding what to wear that will classify as an "office attire" (which for me meant something that will allow you to enter the office building without being asked by the security guard if you work there or not) and sitting at the living room pondering for the great things that lie ahead (ahem, ahem). This happens every damn day, same set of actions - different set of clothes.
Our new office is located at the farrrrrrraway land of The Fort. If you grew up in the province, the sight of the vicinity will probably bring back your childhood memories (dyok lang!). As my friend from the ninth floor have said, "Kung may saranggola lang ako pinalipad ko na yun dito." Heniwayzzz....
At about 8:30 am, I've settled all my things to my drawer, turned my computer on and the phrase that marks the beginning of another long day at work pops up at the monitor (Log on to Windows NT). I wish there's another option/button that I can click besides "OK"... like "Go Home, Teyk Ker !! ". Throughout the day, I send and read emails or YM messages, finish my program, drink coffee, test the program, drink coffee, finish the UTP, and drink coffee again. If I get wounded, coffee might ooze out instead of blood.
After office, I still have to take 3 rides to get home - bus, jeepney, and an fx (if I'm lucky) or a bus (if I'm not). The trip to and from the office takes a lot of time which allows your mind to wander and observe a bunch of bizarre things like the vandals at the bus - just by looking at the messy writings on almost every corner makes you sooo proud to be Pinoy. I've read a couple of interesting vandals such as:
"MOVIE TITLES:
1. Anak, Gising Na. Matutulog pa Tayo.
2. Takbo, Babaeng Lumpo!
3. Pusod Pababa, Walang Kawala"
Upon arrival at home, I just watch tv for a couple of minutes, eat dinner, brush my teeth and get ready to sleep and repeat the cycle all over again the next day with slight alterations. That's just about it. Life definitely sucks. Ironically, I like it just the way it is.
